Grant Thornton Baltic representatives Aleksandrs Vellers and Dita Golko participated in the TEGOVA 2026 Spring General Assembly and European Valuation Conference, which took place in Riga from 21 to 23 May.
The conference brought together real estate and business valuation professionals from across Europe to discuss current market trends, the latest valuation standards, and sustainability-related topics. The programme focused on the European Business Valuation Standards 2026, valuation of intangible assets, and approaches to valuing renewable energy projects.
Participation in the conference gave Grant Thornton experts the opportunity to gain insights into the latest industry developments and exchange experience with international colleagues. The event also encouraged discussions on the development of business valuation and the growing importance of sustainable investments in the European market.
TEGOVA (The European Group of Valuers’ Associations) is one of Europe’s leading valuation organisations, bringing together professional associations and promoting the development of common valuation standards across Europe.
The event was organised by the Latvian Association of Property Valuers (LĪVA).
