On 12 and 13 October, I attended the Grant Thornton Global CEO Meeting 2026 in Amsterdam, which brought together 120 leaders from across the network. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the network’s future and jointly assess its priorities for continued development.
Just one year after Grant Thornton announced its purpose and ambitious aim to become the fastest-growing international professional services network, it is close to reclaiming fifth place in the global rankings. In Latvia and across the Baltics, Grant Thornton ranks fifth, immediately behind the Big Four.
“One of the most significant developments shaping our industry is the advancement of artificial intelligence. At the conference, we discussed how to introduce AI tools and technologies to improve our work processes and deliver services to clients at an unprecedented level,” says Raitis Logins, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Baltic in Latvia.
Member firms across the network are planning substantial investments in technology and artificial intelligence, alongside an expansion of their advisory services. At the same time, this growth must remain grounded in preserving Grant Thornton’s culture, continuously improving service quality and strengthening the brand.
