We are glad to announce that, effective 19 October 2015, the new business name of Grant Thornton Rimess is Grant Thornton Baltic SIA. Contact information will stay the same, but please do not forget that we have recently moved to a new address (Blaumana street 22, Riga LV-1011).
The main reason behind the name change is the intention to bring the Latvian, Estonian, and Lithuanian companies under one name, reflecting our operations in the Baltics: hence the inclusion of Baltic in the new name.
Grant Thornton Baltic is a locally owned and operated company, meaning we have a thorough knowledge of the particularities of each country and market and can respond in a rapid and flexible manner. The ever-closer cooperation between the companies based in all three Baltics will allow us to provide even better service to clients who are doing business in more than one Baltic state.
The Grant Thornton part of our name refers to our membership of the international Grant Thornton organisation of audit and advisory firms, giving us the advantages of a global cooperation network.
