Transmission of personal data to the US – mission impossible?
On 16 July 2020, the European Union Court of Justice (CJEU) passed judgment C-311/18 (Schrems II), invalidating the US-EU certificate programme Privacy Shield, which ensures data transmission security.

In the beginning of the year, several tax changes were introduced in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Some of the changes will become effective in 2022. In addition we shall highlight tax rates applicable in the Baltics as of 2022. In addition to several individual changes, there are also general changes that shall be applicable in all Baltic states as of 2022.
